What I Eat in a Day as a Personal Trainer in Dubai (2200 kcal)

Egg cups, protein bars, rice cakes and even cake. A realistic 2200 kcal day of eating for an active woman in Dubai.

Why 2200 calories?

Many women trying to lose weight or get fit eat far too little. Jane trains herself and coaches clients across Dubai every day, so she eats enough to fuel her workouts and recover. This video shows what that looks like in real life.

The day

  • 9am: egg cups with fresh vegetables for a protein-rich breakfast.
  • 10am: snacks on the go during a walk along Dubai Marina.
  • 11am: a protein bar between sessions.
  • Late morning: more snacks on the way to a client, including fruit and coconut water.
  • 2pm: rice cakes with avocado, tomato and fried eggs.
  • 2:15pm: a protein drink.
  • 6pm: a fruity bread snack, then chicken with potatoes and broccoli.
  • Evening: a slice of cake.

Balance is the point

There is room for cake in a plan that is built around enough protein, whole foods and regular training. That balance is what makes a diet you can stick with long enough to see results.
